I dislike the "who else" argument.

It doesn't stand to reason, will be dozens if not hundreds of managers in the world we could employ.

The kid Brighton got, heard of him? I hadn't, won manager of the month for August.

Tom Cleverly went from player to manager and look where Watford are now.

Imo the "who else" argument is one of the worst arguments for keeping a manager it's just natural fear of the unknown.

We had the same arguments for Heckingbottom and Marsch.

My main reasoning for keeping him now and in the summer had nothing to do with him.

I don't trust those above him to get anyone better, not because they aren't around.

But because I don't think we look like an organised and well researched club.

Personally, I would bin Gruev out of the starting lineup at home. Aaronsson next to Amps for me. He can play a hybrid 6/8 role no problem. I get the feeling Gruev is in the side for his corners. The rest of them must be atrocious in that case.

Why do we play with two number 6s?

Because we signed no one else or we signed Tanaka too late for him to really be involved this early. I do think Tanaka will replace Gruev soon, said all along Gruev is the direct Ampadu back up at 4, but not an 8. If we had a 10 then Aaronson would be a good 8.

They were expecting him to continue the attack, cost us precious seconds. Struijk almost got back. Bogle should have come.

Strange how Bogle who is not a great defender, but we leave him as a one-man defence when we have a corner-kick.

Not sure why we put Rodon in the box at corners, he's not an aerial threat in the opposition's box and better suited to be that man that stays back. Struijk way more dangerous

Farke needs to learn, and soon. He does hold us back. But I agree we're still one of the favourites for promotion and while that's the case we stick. A new manager will likely take time to bed in and it's never easy mid season to switch unless you can only get better

We've gone into this season facing the same issues as last season.

Can't break down low blocks.

No, No.10 driving through the heart of the opposition's spine.

Miss glaring scoring opportunities.

Rarely score from as a set-piece, our goal per corner count is a complete joke.

Don't score from headers.

Complex & intricate football in tight areas that lead to nothing.

No competition for the No.9 position.

A keeper that make fewer saves than other goalies

Too much time wasted playing tippy-tappy passes in areas that are not going to hurt the opposition.

Yet we have some different players to last season.....

I do become frustrated with our style of play.

Our team getting booed off the pitch is not good for Farke in our third home game, fans restless already.
