He is a journeyman for a reason, but a top pro. I agree we should be getting better, but sometimes a player just needs the right club to bring the best out of their game. I am sure Farke will make the right decision.

Conversely when you are playing for a contract it does add an extra percentage to your game.

Sunderland 23.2, Leeds 25.2

Guilavogui, Darlow, Bamford and Byram push it up a bit. Some of the players you think are young aren't as young as you think. Dan James 27, Joe Rodon 27.

Warnock in defence of managers showing emotion.

Haven't worked it out but the Sunderland team would seem quite a bit younger.

Two teenagers.

Quite a few players 24 or younger.

We only had Aaronson and Meslier I think.

Late goals especially in extra time are a real sickener, not only for the team that looses but for all the other teams in the division.

Le Fee on his arse contemplating how early in the game he was nutmegged by Bogle.

And the Blades fans crowing that Sunderland are in the lead, only to have their hopes of staying top of the league dashed in the dying minutes.

There is no better way to win a game.

We'll need several champo players to pad out the squad next season. Just like Bielsa and Wilko did after promotion. Rothwell could be a good shout, except he's not our player to keep.

If he's got a super cheap buy clause, might be worth a bench spot. But I'd hope the RB 49ers are aiming higher.

Got to give Sky credit today. I feel like if that game was 12:30pm on Saturday, it'd have been dull. But 8pm on Monday under the lights made it a great game.

I knew someone would have a quick answer

Guilavogui doesn't count. Pull him out and we'll drop a few years

I like quite a few of the Sunderland team. Hulme is a terrific player and I wouldn’t say no to Bellingham, very athletic, technical and strong, he looks ready to step up to the next level. No doubt he will get a lot of interest in the summer. Sunderland should get a good fee for him and if they invest the money wisely will be in the running next season if they do not go up this year.

He did tbh. He was very complimentary of Rothwell & Struijk. But he’s right about Farke. Completely pathetic to book him.
