And yeah as you say he actually did play well (Piroe) just the goalie turned into Buffon and he was involved in 2 of our 3 goals.

So, bearing in mind that virtually all of DCL's goals come between the goal and the penalty spot, why are we not supplying him. If you put it in the right place he will score, and we've shown that we can do this, so Daniel needs to fix it urgently.

Ploddyball has crept in more and more and I'd imagine that plays a part.

We cross less, the striker gets fed up and drops deeper to try and get involved.

I've said before imo that style makes life much harder for attackers as it makes it easier for the opposition to get set in a defensive shape.

Was no different in the Championship where it usually took a talented individual to get the ball and beat a player to open it up (we haven't that talent at this level).

So I have some sympathy with DCL in that respect.

But when the opportunity has come (less frequently maybe) but he has had some in the last 7,8 games he hasn't been taking them.

Hopefully we go back to what works soon and he can find a goal.

Aaronson has faded last few games, the energy hasn't been there and that's where he wins for the most part. We dropped Bogle last game too which was daft as he gets forward more than Justin and creates chaos.. Bogle is must start for me

What was unfolding?

Down to 10 men and didn't allow them a shot on target. I Would say Farke manage the situation extremely well and don't know how any manager would have handled it better. Hard fought draw. Excellent condidering the curcumstances.

Players knackered... No sub's..... Farke reacts to situations I.e. newcastle, I.e. Sunderland.... I.e. any one of the many times we've been ahead and he sticks with the starting 11 until the 80th minute while teams change formation and adapt to what we're trying to do and find a way back in.

Hard fought draw.... Brilliant in the end but at the time of posting we were sitting deep as they'd run their hearts out and zero sub's had been made. A fresh set of legs of the ilk of long staff on the bench.

We haven't really had any effective outright wingers this season. Just some wing back play at times when we used to score goals regularly.
