Bears v Vikings probably the pick of the early games, though I might hate watch the Eagles at Tennessee 😂

I don't see me staying up until 2:30am to watch Washington at Dallas, as I'm up at 6:30am and gotta work tomorrow.

Probably watch the start of it though, usually fall asleep at halftime 😴

I'd never want Leeds to play Manure at home in The States either. Could you imagine a must win game involving thousands of miles of travel, a week of climatization and all the distractions
Well, I absolutely understand your point. In College Football there are typically only 7 home games per season for the big conference teams. So they are at a premium in most locations. You would never see the University of Michigan move a home game when their stadium holds over 107,000.

I would also add a bit of context. The University of Kansas stadium has a current capacity of 32,000. They are in the middle of an expansion project that will increase capacity. But they are set to LOSE about $1 million per game this season. So moving this game to London was to their advantage financially. And I'm sure the promotors made it worthwhile for Arizona State as well. And don't underestimate the recruiting benefits of a trip like this. Players from both schools got to experience a trip to London. Probably the first time many of them have travelled outside the USA.

Both teams now have a bye week. They won't play next weekend so they can recuperate.

Another bad elbow injury for JD5 :verysad:

If he gets surgery then that's another season gone.

Decision time for Washington, and not just about JD5 whose rookie contract is expiring. Real shame, but with his injury record Washington cannot risk giving him a franchise QB contract.

Start all over again and look to draft a QB, we may well be picking high in the draft again.

Absolute disaster for us.

Yeah, I saw that ad, it's quite funny.

With Luke McCaffrey, Christian he ain't 😆

He's hardly used, seems to be like 4th WR, if that, also has done some punt returning and at least has a sure pair of hands and van bring it out to the half way line.

Jaylen Lane has been returning punts for us, and was disastrous against the Cowboys, so Luke could get another shot.

Stefon Diggs has been very good, Scary Terry fairly awful, as has been Dyami Brown. Antonio Williams, the rookie, is the pick of the WRs and is a real weapon, but our dummies are not giving him snaps.

Luke could still get a chance, but the O Line is beaten up and pretty s**t. 5 is out, and back ups are back ups for a reason, although Marriotta is one of the better ones.

Our secondary is vacant, Sanristil and Reaves just need turfed onto the street. JSN will have a feast tomorrow, cos these guys can't cover bad receivers, never mind the best.

AP will keep Luke, as he's one of his picks, but so is Sanristil whole probably the worst CB in the NFL.

They are reporting that JD5 will not get surgery and will be back in a few weeks. As good as he is, he won't be able to save our season. The list of injuries is just as bad as last season.

Depends how ruthless our owner Josh Harris is? But, major change is needed again. The NFC Championship run in 2024 meant they abandoned the roster build, to try and get a Superbowl.

But with all the injuries, poor draft picks, and trades we're almost back to where we were with Dan Snyder, and Ron Rivera and co.

Josh Harris is a good genuine guy though, and we do have a franchise QB, and a new stadium planned for 2030, but the rest of it is still a mess.

Thursday Night Football. Pittsburgh Steelers vs Cleveland Browns. This game is being played in Cleveland. And it's an AFC North Division Rivalry. These two clubs are separated by only about 130 Miles (210 KM). That's less than 2 hours down the Turnpike. Damn near a LOCAL rivalry by USA standards. 8-)

I don't think there's a player I hate more than masseuse fondler DeShaun Watson so very annoying captain checkdown got the win, Cleveland's D is very good though

Washington v Colts in the early game today, kick off at 14:30 at Spurs ground.

Commanders are fresh from an exhilarating win over the Seahawks last week.

No Jayden Daniels, but he may be back next week against the Giants. Marcus Marriotta is starting QB, and he had his best game for us last week.

But back up QBs are not starters for a reason, that being they are not capable of consistently good performances.

Expect a dominant performance from Washington, some of our young players did really well last week.

Need and expect a W 8-)

Mariota drafted as a starter though, he's in the Goff/Smith/Darnold rank of QB's drafted well, struggled but came good ..or at least starting quality...

I think he can run an offense well, manage the game and even carry a team to a win.

But for me he's a spare tyre designed to get you to the next garage.

He always has some crazy YOLO interception pass that can manifest itself at any moment.

Probably he's a starting QB for many teams. I think he's good for a short period of games, but longer than that and the cracks in his game will resurface.

To be fair, there's a number of starting QB trhowing those up. Top back up at the moment. He can win games which is more than you can say for a few back ups atm

Hopefully Jayden back next week in a brace

Agreed 👍

I'm hoping Jayden can stay injury free from now on. It's weird that he's had two freak injuries to his non throwing arm, just falling to the turf.

Our main concern was his running and being hit. He got his ribs broken in the first season, running and falling in another freak incident.

He's had a few hits that have knocked the sonic rings out of him, but he just shrugged it off.

I guess American football is such a violent sport that anyone's career can be over at any given moment.

We have Leo Chanel out for the season with a bad neck injury and Nick Cross out with internal bleeding/organ damage.

Two guys who were injury free until they rocked up in Washington. It seems like the curse continues?

I remember the sickening injury to Joe Theismann like it was yesterday, career over, but no blame on LT who didn't intend that outcome.

Lots of starting QBs are out.

I wonder how Brady made it through all those seasons when he would obviously be targeted?

Yeah, it was a bad one and could have been career ending. Seemed like he tackled with his head down, rather than up.

Sonny Styles has been amazing so far. Kain Medrano finally got some snaps and did well, but is lightweight. Luvu is supposed to be back today and has lost weight.

Key should be stopping Taylor running and pressuring Daniel Jones into errors. Tight Ends always have big games against us.

Injured his knee.

AK steps in, the RT Golden is giving the Colts a clear path to the QB. I'm happy Jayden isn't playing.

At this rate we may have seen all the points scoring and a lot of work for punters and kickers

Yankoff is next man up and Kaliakmanis has been hit hard at least twice so far.
