I don't see me staying up until 2:30am to watch Washington at Dallas, as I'm up at 6:30am and gotta work tomorrow.
Probably watch the start of it though, usually fall asleep at halftime

Well, I absolutely understand your point. In College Football there are typically only 7 home games per season for the big conference teams. So they are at a premium in most locations. You would never see the University of Michigan move a home game when their stadium holds over 107,000.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2026 9:09 am Because it takes away from the fans at home, someone is losing a home game, the travel is not usually condusive to performance
I'd never want Leeds to play Manure at home in The States either. Could you imagine a must win game involving thousands of miles of travel, a week of climatization and all the distractions

Yeah, I saw that ad, it's quite funny.

I think he can run an offense well, manage the game and even carry a team to a win.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2026 9:20 am Mariota drafted as a starter though, he's in the Goff/Smith/Darnold rank of QB's drafted well, struggled but came good ..or at least starting quality...

To be fair, there's a number of starting QB trhowing those up. Top back up at the moment. He can win games which is more than you can say for a few back ups atmWhite Riot wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2026 9:39 am I think he can run an offense well, manage the game and even carry a team to a win.
But for me he's a spare tyre designed to get you to the next garage.
He always has some crazy YOLO interception pass that can manifest itself at any moment.
Probably he's a starting QB for many teams. I think he's good for a short period of games, but longer than that and the cracks in his game will resurface.

Hopefully Jayden back next week in a brace

And the ignorant say NFL is for pussies and why do they wear padding.. Saw the Chenal injury at the time ...scary.White Riot wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2026 11:10 am Agreed![]()
I'm hoping Jayden can stay injury free from now on. It's weird that he's had two freak injuries to his non throwing arm, just falling to the turf.
Our main concern was his running and being hit. He got his ribs broken in the first season, running and falling in another freak incident.
He's had a few hits that have knocked the sonic rings out of him, but he just shrugged it off.
I guess American football is such a violent sport that anyone's career can be over at any given moment.
We have Leo Chanel out for the season with a bad neck injury and Nick Cross out with internal bleeding/organ damage.
Two guys who were injury free until they rocked up in Washington. It seems like the curse continues?
I remember the sickening injury to Joe Theismann like it was yesterday, career over, but no blame on LT who didn't intend that outcome.
Lots of starting QBs are out.
I wonder how Brady made it through all those seasons when he would obviously be targeted?

Yeah, it was a bad one and could have been career ending. Seemed like he tackled with his head down, rather than up.The Subhuman wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2026 12:01 pm And the ignorant say NFL is for pussies and why do they wear padding.. Saw the Chenal injury at the time ...scary.

Injured his knee.

At this rate we may have seen all the points scoring and a lot of work for punters and kickers

Yankoff is next man up and Kaliakmanis has been hit hard at least twice so far.White Riot wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2026 2:22 pm Injured his knee.
AK steps in, the RT Golden is giving the Colts a clear path to the QB. I'm happy Jayden isn't playing.
